We spent another weekend in Montauk. First stop was Napeague Harbor to walk Iodine Beach at low tide. I like coming here because there really isn’t much for people to do unless they are windsurfing or birdwatching. There are no facilities, and the beach isn’t near any hotels. It is undisturbed and peaceful. The day was warm without a breeze. I spotted two American Oystercatchers walking along the shore up ahead. They were taking advantage of the shellfish, clams and whatever else low tide brought to the afternoon buffet. I didn’t do much photographing this trip other than this afternoon. It was just a nice weekend for some much needed R&R.
